About Boise Tech
For years, the idea for Boise-Tech.com simmered in the back of my mind. It all started back when I was one of the main organizers of Hackfort, a booming tech conference that's a part of Treefort Music Fest. Hackfort was a blast, but I noticed something was missing. Boise had no single hub for all the rich, diverse tech culture bubbling under the surface throughout the year. We had niche groups and occasional big events, but not one constant place that keeps the converstaions going and the community connected.
I'm a lean one-person operation, but I’m still passionate about showcasing the incredible tech scene in Boise. From the startups and entrepreneurs to the developers and designers, I want to highlight the stories that make our community unique. Whether you’re a local or just curious about what’s happening here, I hope you find something that resonates with you.
